Dataking, a leading South Korean VR/AR company specializing in 3D virtual spaces, will be attending AWE Asia in Singapore from August 30–31 as part of the K-Metaverse Pavilion. Dataking will be featuring three products: a 360° VR Museum solution, its MICE and enterprise meeting tool 360xCon, and its metaverse co-creation platform Hexaworld that allows users to build virtual spaces and trade 3D virtual assets.

Dataking was selected as one of six companies to take part in the K-Metaverse pavilion by the Korean National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA). The K-Metaverse Pavilion is a showcase of the latest metaverse technologies and solutions from South Korea. The pavilion will also feature a business matching program that will connect Korean metaverse companies with potential partners and investors from around the world.

At AWE Asia, Dataking will be demonstrating how its 3 products can be used to create a variety of virtual spaces, including educational experiences, corporate training simulations, and social gaming platforms. Prospective partners are encouraged to visit booth G1 or join the session “Enter the K-Metaverse: Innovations from South Korean Companies in Immersive Technology” on August 30 from 11:30AM — 12:25PM.

Dataking aims to build upon its successes in South Korea, where it has already engaged 77 partners and has created 230 immersive content projects in the education, museum, and MICE industries. Notable deployments include a plethora of exhibits for the National Museum of Korea, and Hyundai Construction Company.

Dataking’s previous awards have included selection in the Korean Ministry of Science and ICT’s “Software (SW) High Growth Club 200”, the National Information Society Agency’s “DNA Top 100 Innovative Companies”, the “Technology Innovation Award” from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups at the 19th SMB Technology Innovation Competition.

The K-Metaverse Pavilion is a key part of NIPA’s efforts to promote the Korean metaverse industry to the world. The agency has been actively supporting the development of the metaverse industry in South Korea, and the K-Metaverse Pavilion is a way to showcase the country’s leading metaverse companies and technologies to a global audience. Its participation at AWE Asia will allow Dataking to connect with AWE Asia’s community of over 2,000 XR professionals, 80 speakers, and 60 exhibitors to discuss the latest trends and developments in the XR industry.
