Dooribun, a digital avatar-based broadcasting tool for the metaverse, will be attending the Augmented World Expo Asia Conference (AWE Asia) in Singapore from August 30–31. Dooribun will be showcasing its I-TUBER platform, which enables anyone to become a virtual creator in the metaverse.
I-TUBER is a 3D streaming system that uses specialized motion capture and AR technology to animate 3D characters in real time without prior animation work. This makes it possible for anyone to create their own virtual character and start broadcasting live in the metaverse, without the need for expensive equipment or specialized skills.
Dooribun’s Product Manager, Chanwoo Park, will be giving a talk at AWE Asia titled “Specialized Metaverse Media Service for Virtual Character Content Creation, I-TUBER” as part of the K-Metaverse conference session. In his talk, Park will discuss the benefits of I-TUBER and how it can be used to create engaging and immersive metaverse experiences.
Dooribun is one of six companies selected to take part in the K-Metaverse pavilion at AWE Asia. The K-Metaverse pavilion is a showcase of the latest metaverse technologies and solutions from South Korea.
Brands have adopted virtual avatar creator tools in recent years because virtual avatar creator tools can help brands create and launch digital content without the time and expense of traditional 3D animation. With a global market size of $17.21 billion in 2021, 3D animation represents a significant area for growth, with ample opportunities for interconnectivity and synergy in the creation of XR content.
Beyond I-TUBER, Dooribun also offers AR live broadcasting solutions that use 3D characters and an LED virtual studio that enables webinar relay solutions. It has collaborated with consumer-facing brands involving IP such as Monoplan Gumball, Orion Chocolate Mushroom, Lotte Cultureworks Bearguras, and MBC Pinkki. It has also powered enterprise virtual events for Kookmin Bank, Bana Bank, KAIST Global Strategy Institute, and Unity Korea Unite.
