Salin, a South Korean company that offers customized metaverse events and meetings, will be attending the Augmented World Expo Asia Conference (AWE Asia) in Singapore from August 30–31.

Salin will be showcasing its two metaverse platforms, EpicLive and ReadyPlay. EpicLive is a B2B metaverse platform that allows businesses to create and host immersive events and meetings. It has been used by companies such as Samsung Fire & Marine, Samsung Life, LG Electronics, KB Group, and SoftBank.

ReadyPlay is a B2C metaverse platform that allows users to create their own virtual spaces and avatars. It has been used by Arirang TV, Korea Post, and Soongsil University.

In addition to its metaverse platforms, Salin will also be showcasing its work in MR experiences for museums, K12, and higher education. The company has launched a number of unique projects in these areas, including a virtual tour of the National Museum of Korea and an MR learning platform for students with auditory disabilities.

In museums, XR can be used to:

  • Create virtual tours that allow users to explore exhibits from the comfort of their own homes.
  • Provide interactive learning experiences that allow users to learn about objects and artifacts in a more engaging way.
  • Bring historical events to life by recreating them in VR or AR.
  • Make museums more accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Break down language barriers and make museums more accessible to people from all over the world.

Salin is one of a growing number of companies that are using XR to create innovative museum experiences. The company’s work is helping to make museums more accessible, engaging, and educational for everyone.

Salin was selected as one of 6 companies to take part in the K-Metaverse pavilion at AWE Asia. The pavilion will showcase the latest innovations in metaverse technology from South Korean companies.
